New Signage Around The Estate
- New signage erected in and around the Estate. This is what $65,000+ pays for.
- It is a pity it wasn't spent on upgrading Wymond Road so Old Albany Lane and Wymond Road could be opened to provide a permanent second exit.
- The latch has now been replaced by a magnet so that a car may push it open. Why a magnet? So if the gate is used outside an "emergency" situation the Council can prove "intent" to open it, rather than it was already open or just swung open!
- Why is the junction of the Golf Resort escape route (unpaved) to the East with Armenti Road paved at the crossing and has no latch, and yet the gate at Old Albany Lane and Wymond Road is unmade, steep and has a latch?
- WHY IS THERE A GATE AT ALL?

Old Albany Lane is closed?

Beware of the cameras

Half way down Old Albany Lane (incase you ignored the sign at the top of the road).

Apparently the end of Heritage Drive is also closed, or all of the estate if you're coming the other way!

Surveillance cameras at Old Albany Lane gate. Stalag Luft 7?

Rocks to ensure you can't pass unless you use the gate

More rocks on the other side.

You're being watched!

BEWARE! Out of office hours you get an answering service. They promise the Ranger will contact you. He never does!

Signage at the entry to Wymond Road from Soldiers Road

Approaching the gate on Wymond Road. More signage.

Speed advisory cameras either side of the hill on approach to Wymond Road junction from Soldiers Road.

The gate at the end of the escape route via the Golf Resort onto Armenti Road is "push open" with no latch and on a paved surface.

By comparison, the gate between Old Albany Lane and Wymond Road now has a magnetic latch. This latch triggers a time record for when the gate is used. This allows the City to review the video and identify the culprit.
